Sweet, smiling, artistic and lovely, Lorraine. We were classmates and friends from second grade at Hastings Elementary School through graduation from FNHS. Your mom was the leader of our Brownie Troop, so our meetings were at your house. My favorite project by far was the embroidered black felt draw string bag. Cool beyond cool for it's time. But that damn swing, the swimg in the tree in your backyard, was my nemisis. I never had the guts to climb that tree and fall down on that swing. You wrote about it in my yearbook, you said I could come to your house to ride the swing any time. Farewell. gentle, lovely, ever young, Lorraine. I would love to reconnect with your sister, Roxanne, and your family.

Lorraine and I were close friends all thru high school. I  became part of her youth group at her church, and we did all kinds of things together.  She was aways smiling and enthusiastic about everything she got involved with.  I had many sleepovers with her and the other girls!

I remember the night she passed away.  For an unknown reason, I was in my apartment in CT, combing through an old picture album, in which many of the pictures included Lorriane.  I couldn't get her out of my mind. My mom called several hours later to tell me the sad and terrible news about Lorraine.

I miss her till this day.  Lorraine left us much, much too soon! RIP, my friend!

Aside from knowing her since 4th grade (I loved that scary swing) she was a sweetheart. I saw her not long before she passed. We ran into each other a few times in Boston and had a fun few mini reunions. She had the most infectious smile.

I only really remember and knew Lorraine through a few classes taken and passing in the halls. She was always so pleasant, timid and kind. Just not fair that the kindest of kind need to leave this world. I'm not sure how long Lorraine has been gone, but someone up there is enjoying her soul. RIP Lorraine
