After HS I worked for New England Telephone Company for 10 years - got married, had two daughters and after the birth of my first daughter went into the phone stores during that transition years of buying phones and educating people about that new equipment. I found a love of working directly with the public there and a motivation to work on my own so went on to start two publishing businesses in 1986, a real estate magazine known as Homes and Land West of Boston and then a Bridal magazine while the girls were growing up. In 1998 I went to work privately for friends and had moved to Millbury in 2006 with my second husband.

In 2014, my brother who lived with my mom since my dad's passing in 2003, also passed suddenly. I moved in to care for mom until last year when circumstances required her to have more care than I could provide as I still work full time, so she entered a facility. I have continued to work full time and attend to making her life as good as it can be through the aging process, she is 93. Now I currently work at Ken's Steak House which was the very first job I had so long ago back in 1967 so full circle for sure. I enjoy every day surrounded by great friends and look forward to reconnecting with past friends this year at the reunion,

I don't think I can talk about my school years without first mentioning Willie Ramsey, he was my first real love since 7th grade. His sudden death in our freshman year 1966 changed my views on life in too many ways to mention here. The following years I had at FHS and because of all the life long friends I made certainly were the best memories of such a magical time in life. When asked to reflect here about those times I think naturally to mention Willie just came to mind and that he never got to experience any of those days or the years since just to express my respect for all he lost at such a young age.

The most valuable days there continued through the years in the friendships I made. Friends who grew through the decades together and had the same connection to those great years we shared and with each reunion we had it became pretty obvious it was a special time with amazing people.
